In a gesture of solidarity with the ongoing struggle in the Atlanta Forest, we visited a Truist Bank, smashed the ATM and poured salt water into the broken screen for good measure, and broke a few windows on our way out. Stop Cop City and Viva Tort were painted on the walls. While this can’t express our sadness and rage at the murder of a comrade and the continuing repression by the state, we hope it can express our deep solidarity and the pride we feel towards our comrades in Atlanta who continue to fight despite the brutality of the state and our comrades all across the world who dream of a free and wild earth.
Long live Tort! Long live the forest!
