On the night of October 1st, the Brent Scarborough site across from the penitentiary was visited for a third time and an excavator was burned.
They still have overnight security but we didn’t run into them. We know people are afraid. We are afraid too, but we move through fear by taking action. Hearing a machine explode as you walk away is actually really freeing.
The upcoming mass action has set us a deadline. We have from now until November 13 to stop the “movement’s next phase” from being defined by NVDA. We honor our dead by following their struggle through to the end. Start making your way to Atlanta or take action where you are.

Last week, to commemorate the International Week of Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners, under the cover of darkness a small incendiary device was placed on the wheel arc of a Vertiv truck located on the edge of a sleepy office park in Milwaukie OR. The delay was lit before we disappeared back into the forest
Vertiv Corporation develops critical support equipment and services for commercial IT systems—technology that is utilized by United States military in addition to state and federal law enforcement agencies, such as the FBI and ICE. Vertiv is part of the broad corporate infrastructure of state repression that condemns us all to a world of mass surveillance, borders, and militarized police
AGAINST COP CITY
This action was inspired in part by the continued militancy and creativity of the movement to stop the construction of Cop City in Atlanta GA. Cop City is a testing ground for other law enforcement agencies across the country to construct similar facilities—continuing a broader trend towards the militarization of policing and domestic counter-insurgency. For their part, Vertiv is a supplier to the Atlanta Police Department. Just in the year 2023 alone, the APD paid Vertiv $168,315 to utilize their technology.

One can not fight authority with authoritarian forms of organization. Reproducibility as a method then requires not only the identification and use of tools within reach of all, but also a whole work of identification of the enemy. […] I find it difficult to imagine how a real propagation of sabotage can be achieved if, for example, in the struggle against the construction of a high-voltage line, the comrades identify only the institution that has financed the construction as the target of the struggle. Reproducibility becomes possible when, precisely, the view shifts and identifies the hundreds of pylons, scattered along the new line, as potential targets for sabotage. […] the propagation of attack also requires making available and sharing knowledge of the instruments of attack.

“The propagation of sabotage had nothing accidental about it, it was due to the simplicity with which this symbol of domination was attacked and the facility by which certain means could be acquired, this means: reproducibility. […] Concretely, reproducibility means that acts of sabotage are realised with means (incendiary devices bombs, explosive weapons or other tools) that can be easily made and used, and that can be easily acquired by anyone. The intention beyond this is that sabotage might be in reach for anyone, that each person might get access to attacking what is oppressing him or her and that one doesn’t have to go looking for an already formalised (or sometimes spectacularised) group to learn how to do thing. […] Concerning the attack against the structures of the State and Capitalism, but above all against Power, we desire a propagation of attack, of sabotage and of the insurrectional perspective. What we are looking for, is the intensification of the social war day after day. That every person who feels the need to attack the State, Capitalism and Power does so, getting, above everything else, out of the idle position of spectator or of the immobility due to a lack of means.”
“The media image of the ‘terrorist’ works together with the police to defend social peace. The citizen applauds or gets scared, but always remains a citizen, that is to say, a spectator. The ‘armed struggle’ presents itself as the superior form of social confrontation. The one who is militarily more representative – according to the spectacular effect of the actions – therefore constitutes the authentic armed party. The State from his side has every interest to reduce the revolutionary threat to some fighting organisations as to transform subversion into a pitched battle between two armies. What domination fears is generalised and anonymous revolt […]”
“One thing is that anarchists have weapons, a much different thing is to be an armed group. […]”
On the 11th of March 2009, a video with the title 19 seconds of social war was anonymously uploaded to the web. Three anonymous fighters with their faces covered show the easiness and efficiency with which it is possible to attack those who destroy your life. To attack a bank in a few seconds, two hammers, a spray can and determination are enough. Maybe at the moment, the most notable aspect of the video was the acceptance it got on youtube, it was enough to look to the comments to have an idea of this. But actually, the most notable in our opinion, was the wave of sabotage actions that happened in the Mexican capital (and certainly also in other regions) after the spreading of this video. The propagation of sabotage had nothing accidental about it, it was due to the simplicity with which this symbol of domination was attacked and the facility by which certain means could be acquired, this means: reproducibility.
For long time, the majority of sabotage actions which flooded anonymously and informally – or some with claims – Mexico City and other regions of the country shared a characteristic that went beyond any claim. This characteristic was that the attacks were realised with easily reproducible means that are therefore accessible for any comrade, or for anybody who feels the need to attack what is oppressing and exploiting us. Also today, many attacks are realised in this way, which is strengthening their propagation.
In an insurrectional and informal struggle project that intends to propagate itself on a, let’s say, social level, but also amongst comrades, an as necessary as indispensable element is reproducibility. Concretely, reproducibility means that acts of sabotage are realised with means (incendiary devices bombs, explosive weapons or other tools) that can be easily made and used, and that can be easily acquired by anyone. The intention beyond this is that sabotage might be in reach for anyone, that each person might get access to attacking what is oppressing him or her and that one doesn’t have to go looking for an already formalised (or sometimes spectacularised) group to learn how to do thing. Reproducibility is about the individual himself or herself finding the means to act, meeting up with comrades in affinity with who he or she shares knowledge, discussing things trough and stepping on to action.
When we speak about informality, we are not only speaking about it as an organisational method of the anarchist struggle, we are also speaking about it as a means by which the individual acquires absolute autonomy and therefore doesn’t have to submit to the ideology of a group – groups that are often of authoritarian colours, but go well camouflaged as “libertarian” or “autonomous” and insert themselves in this necessity to pass on to the attack, taking over anarchist projects or individuals to later on submerse them in a logic of submission to a central apparatus. But it is precisely through discussion, thinking and critiques that the individual meets the need to converge with other singular individuals, or with other collectives that themselves are consisting of individuals.
Reproducibility also encourages the radicalisation of the individual or collective acts of attack, extending to the maximum the autonomy amongst individuals and collectives, generating, when one desires, an informal coordination in which, outside of the logic of dependency or acceptance, one could also come to share the knowledge of each comrade concerning sabotage.
Some particular realities
Gasoline, glass bottles, burned oil and rags are easily acquired. Also other materials with which one can attack the system and its cops can be easily found. For us, all means that are in accordance with the ends are weapons that can be directed against power. Maybe some are more destructive than others, but no any means gets ideological overrating over another. Continue reading “Reproducibility, propagation of attack against power and some related points”

A Canadian is facing federal charges after authorities alleged he shot a gun at an electricity substation in western North Dakota.
A person appeared Wednesday, July 12, in U.S. District Court in Bismarck on one count each of destruction of an energy facility, “possession of a firearm by an illegal alien” and “possession of ammunition by an illegal alien.” His trial is scheduled for September.
The charge stems from a May 13 incident at the Wheelock substation in Ray, North Dakota. Employees said they found multiple rifle bullet holes in the substation operated by Mountrail-Williams Electric Co-op and Basin Electric Power Co-op, according to a criminal complaint.
The word “DAPL” and other symbols were spray-painted on rocks outside the power station, according to court documents.
No one was injured in the shooting.
DAPL is an acronym for the Dakota Access Pipeline, a nearly 1,200-mile pipeline that carries oil from western North Dakota to Illinois. Construction of the pipeline attracted protesters in 2016.
“Law enforcement also determined that approximately 15 bullets penetrated and damaged substation transformers and numerous electrical apparatuses,” the complaint said.
The bullets caused $100,000 in damage and resulted in 243 customers losing power, the complaint said.
He initially was charged with felony criminal mischief in Williams County District Court, but the charge was dropped Tuesday so federal prosecutors could pursue their case.
He remains in custody at the Williams County Correctional Center.

An invitation and reportback from a productive fourth of july party
On the fourth of july, 20 machines across 6 sites of the construction of the mountain valley pipeline were sabotaged, using a variety of means to render them inoperable. Machines are often left unguarded, and when they’re not, the security are just prats. It was easy and fun. We gave a big cheer when these machines were seen being hauled off the mountains back to the industrial hellscapes they come from.
I have loved these mountains my whole life, and truly am a part of the forests. Mountain Valley Pipeline has been fought ferociously by locals every step of the last 5 years, but we need help. People have locked themselves to equipment and had their bodies maimed by police. People have precariously lived in treetops for years (literally, 2 and a half years at yellow finch). But MVP, supported by Joe Manchin and the full power of the US government does not care about the trees, the deer, the woodducks, the candy darters, or any one of us. Lockdowns and treesits are not enough anymore. I am inviting the full power and creativity of the movement to do whatever it takes to stop these fuckers from killing us all. Doom to the pipeline!

we took action because the police see everyone associated with the movement to defend the atlanta forest as an enemy combatant whether or not they participate in brave decisive actions like that at the cop city site on march 5.
we took action after non combative demonstrations at cadence bank and home depot. the police attacked those demonstrations with no cause, as they do wherever or however the movement gathers. there can be no separation of time and space for tactics when the police have turned society into a warzone. despite this, we dispersed our activity as much as possible across their area of control.
to address the referendum. we encourage thsoe who are pursuing a strategy of referendum to continue supporting all methods to stop cop city. while signatures are collected, the forest is being destroyed, the police are still killing. we cannot wait. if the referendum fails, actions like ours, and bolder, will be the only means available.
to these ends, we announce the march 5 movement (m5m). we are inspired by the brave actions of forest defenders on march 5, and reflect on the shortcomings of the march 5 action. we see that mass daylight actions are not possible for now, but the struggle must advance and escalate.
we encourage anyone who agrees to pick up these methods and claim actions in the name of m5m if they seek to disrupt the logistics of those who destroy the earth and dignified life on it.
we have shed enough tears and acted soley in revenge for too long. we encourage a revolutionary guerilla movement as a path forward.

Two More Machines Burned at Brent Scarbrough Site in Atlanta
Dear Brent Scarbrough,
Happy Fourth of July! Today we decided to celebrate our independence from your destruction of the land for Cop City by torching two of your machines, a steam roller and a front end loader, in broad daylight across from the federal prison in Atlanta (the same site that was hit three months ago). We noticed that you only have overnight security there, and we just wanted to let you know that you and your machines will never be safe, night or day. If you thought it was chill to clearcut 80+ acres, you were wrong and you will fucking pay. You may have thought you were done with us, but we will never be done with you.
For all the trees you’ve killed, for all the owls, snakes, frogs, squirrels, snails, slugs, birds, fish, deer, and coyote you’ve displaced, for all the unmarked graves you’ve disturbed, and for our fallen comrade who was murdered while you were contracted to clear-cut the forest, we will wage a campaign of violence and destruction on any and all contractors who participate in cutting down the forest or building Cop City.
We wonder how you and Tina sleep at night (at this address hyperlinked)?
We are vengeful wingnuts with nothing left to lose.
Fuck around and find out.

In the wee hours of July 2, with the near-full moon shining, we sabotaged the Bayou Oaks golf course in City Park, New Orleans. We filled holes with concrete, dug into the greens, destroyed golf course property, and left messages of rebellion. We intend this action as direct solidarity with forest defenders in Weelaunee. All power to the forest defenders! Stop Cop City! Stop Cop City everywhere!
The redevelopment of the Bayou Oaks golf course in the aftermath of Katrina was unpopular for many reasons, chief among them the callous destruction of fallow park area, a last vestige for native animals already squeezed by aggressive citywide development. A decade of rewilding since the storm offered a glimpse of a world that has continued to exist in spite of 300 years of apocalypse. We honor the forest defenders who mobilized back in 2015. Although the struggle to defend this wild area inevitably was defeated, we have not forgotten. Like the owls, coyotes and alligators, the cypress, palmettos and oaks, we are part of that world, we are nature defending itself.
Golf courses are abominations against nature, and symbolize our current predicament well: frat bros guzzle cold beers on manufactured turf while our unhoused neighbors stroke out under bridges from ever-intensifying heat waves. To anyone considering similar actions, we will say this: a simple jumped fence was all that stood in our way, and the whole course was ours for the taking. Check your local targets for cameras and find good in/out routes, and that’s it! It was cathartic to be out among the possums and cats, the birds, and the impenetrable swamp waters. We fight for a world that embraces the wild. Fuck the police! Smash fortress USA! From NOLA to ATL, Stop Cop City!

https://ellipsism.noblogs.org/files/2023/06/How-To-Survive-The-9-To-5.pdf
Originally intended to be a zine, expanding to a short book, How To Survive The 9 To 5 focuses on direct action in wilderness and woodland areas and Land defense – specifically in North “georgia”. Deeply influenced by the movement to Stop Cop City and Defend the Atlanta Forest, this writing aims to aid in compiling information useful to this fight; covering topics on basic camping know-how, the local flora and fauna, natural building and skills, security and defense, and some useful tips and tactics for direct action.
In the fight for the defense of the Land, the compilation, sharing, and study of knowledge here is necessary, not only for our own safety as a movement but also for the very safety of the Land itself. We must dedicated ourselves daily to knowing and understanding the Land and how we can establish our relationship with it, which in turn means we will be able to work with it for its defense. The Forest and the Land will defend itself and we must work in solidarity with each other and it in this struggle.
This writing is not all-encompassing but hopes to work as a basic field guide, that can be expanded upon further through your endeavors and works well as a reference.
The guide can be found at the newly starting Ellipsism noblogs.
Feel free to distribute and share this writing and keep security in mind when doing so.

Dear Brent Scarborough,
I Bet You Thought You Were Safe With All The New Security Measures You Put In At Your Headquarters Site! We Saw The Empty Lot Where You Used To Store Machines… And The Big One Right Next Door.
We Saw The Bright Lights, Tall Fence, And Trees Clear Cut Twenty Feet From Every Edge Of The Lot. It Was A Quick Walk From The On Ramp Of Exit 41. A Row Of Trucks Obscured Our Car So We Only Had To Carry Our Supplies About Half A Mile.
You Ought To Pay Your Security Guard More… He Was Asleep On The Job! We Climbed Over The Barbed Wire Fence With A Ladder And A Carpet Square & Taking Note Of The Machines Fifty Feet From The Fence And Cameras On Every Pole. Sneaking Between Equipment And Around The Useless Security Truck, We Finally Reached A Row Of Many Large Machines. Each Of Us Carried A Gallon Of Muriatic Acid, A Substance You Should Know About If You Don’t Already. We Poured The Corrosive Acid Into The Oil Tanks Of Three Machines. Have You Found Which Ones Yet? If Not, You Will Soon.
